Thanks, I’d be good with an all new pump if I can find a housing match. Every pump housing I’ve seen has a male adapter instead of this female end. If this doesn’t exist, I guess I’ll have to go a little deeper in the line.

Yes, most come with a male threaded connection. You could cut the threaded male off at the desired length, then install with a double-female adaptor. Use some "Boat Life" caulking on your connections (threaded and hose barb). You don't have to over tighten your connections when you use caulk and your connections won't leak.
