Tgreg1
Hi all. Hoping you can help. Currently have a 2016 22 trs. When loaded for fishing etc I know the hull will skim bottom if my garmin says 1ft 5”. ( w 200hp Yamaha up). Wanting to move into bigger trs and wondering if the drafts posted for 25 and 26 are relative. In other words. 22 posted is 11”. If 25 says 13 or 26 says 15 should I expect they will need 2 or 4 more inches all things being equal (except heavier engines obviously)
HoneyB
In short yes. I own a 2200trs as well. I think it is just the nature of the beast to expect to loose a few inches of draft once you rig and load the boats.
Bamaskeet
I went from a 2200 to a 2500 last year. The factory publishes that the 2500 draws 2” more water than the 2200. In real use, I can’t tell the difference, I fish in the same skinny places with my 2500 that I did in my 2200 in a whole lot more comfort.
