Goin Jessie
Has anyone replaced a bulb in the navigation light on 2000 pathfinder? If so do you access the bulb from the back or did you take off the outer plate? thanks
cadd
Can do them either way, (can reach them thru the anchor locker also, if you have one) if removing and replacing you might need to reseal them. I replaced mine with LED ones like this Shark Eye Boat Navigation Lights
Chief5130
I think is easier to just remove the 2 screws holding the fixture and then replace the bulbs.

Do you mean from the inside or the outside? There are two screws on both the interior and exterior. Thanks
jim33042
I believe it was easier to remove the outside screws and then remove the inside screws. Removing the light fixture from outside gave a better access to the screws on the back, which I believe have to be removed to get the bulb out and replaced. Look for an led bulb as a replacement.. when you are ready to upgrade those 20+ yr old lights with an exact fit replacement - marpac makes a ss model7-6595 and a blackout model 7-6596 which are sealed led replacements

fin-addict
From the outside. JMO, I would change out to led shark eyes. A world of difference.
smilemaker
The time it takes to replace the bulb is sbout the same as going to LED
