Fuel sender

OK, so I installed the new gauges and obviously noticed the fuel sender wasn’t working. So while looking in the center console I noticed I have a fuel sender with the numbers 83, 41–7000 which comes up as a Rockchester fuel sender.

Has anyone installed a Moeller on there old Pathfinder, if so do you remember the size, not sure how deep the tank is on my boat. Also, I noticed on my current fuel Center the ground has another ground attached to it, and the power goes to the center.
can I eliminate that green wire? Thanks50CBBE64-FA4B-4150-8D44-9BF5DC099088.thumb.jpeg.d98432c881b08e068e1e4435cbfdf0ce.jpegB97D827B-38ED-4C79-92E5-5EEE8468ECD6.thumb.jpeg.4ee2f45f1c4b057cb98ae534b2cee724.jpeg

Ok, so I think I built this up more than I should have. Took out the old one measured it was approximately 10 inches long. Went to West Marine found a Moeller sent unit that look very similar to what I had in there cut it to size put it back in, good to go.
Gauges now reading the fuel tank level.  For those of you who have a older pathfinder boat I’ll post pictures of the package as well as the sending unit.DCE276EC-39D0-4774-B6EF-945C19F19341.thumb.jpeg.cc723d7c9e15502fc30e251c8b72cd18.jpeg6AE5DCDF-B409-43EC-85CF-84A1BE45D475.thumb.jpeg.f7309bdc590f9ee1b9d39e88e895f157.jpeg7B3D8FFA-F3D4-4883-AFDD-1B1CA2922C87.thumb.jpeg.fc5a6e48af3a233f3b725ed3748d857e.jpeg
