silverking Posted March 1, 2023 Report Share Posted March 1, 2023 I recently had one of the gas shocks that holds up one of my rod locker hatches on my 2011 Pathfinder 2200 TE stop working. The part number on the gas shock did not match any of the part numbers currently being sold. I also searched this forum and others to see if anyone had posted about a similar issue and found a replacement shock but did not find anything helpful or directly on point. I then called Ameritool the manufacturer of the gas shock and they were very helpful. They were able to convert the old part number into the current part number as well as provide me an outlet to purchase from. The purpose of this post is to help anyone else who is having the same problem in the future. Part number on the original Ameritool gas shock - PN 540790/60# Part number on the current version - 625-6-60-D2D2 Force is 60 pounds. The outlet they provided was boat owners warehouse however, I may call my local pathfinder dealer and see if they have the same part for cheaper.
