ASB
My 2004 Pathfinder was originally rigged by Trapper marine in Marco island and I just purchased a used 2007 rigged by trapper. They used this material in several different places to mount pumps and electrical stuff. It looks like it bends with some heat. anyone know what it is called? I would love to get some for rigging and mounting other things in the boat.
wthree3
Probably PVC foam board.
whichwaysup
The shine makes it look like acrylic but I doubt that. Acrylic can be formed with heat, though so it is possible. There is another plastic product that it could be, let me look for the name. found it: https://www.boatoutfitters.com/material/plastic-sheet/expanded-pvc#readmore

It is much more dense and heavy
Hobo
Are you sure it's not StarBoard or one of it's clones (Marine Board)? StarBoard is easily formed by using heat... ------<" ){{{{*><
geeviam
Lexan, Polycarbonate? HDPE? (what StarBoard is made of) Dupont Delrin? (maybe too stiff and thermal resistant to bend with heat) Edit: Corian is heavy and strong, but I'm not sure it can be bent.
