johnd
Actually have copy of manual and page 2 gives great info about bilge pump... It's staying on and no water, which indicates float switch 'stuck' (or its filling with water) - no! I think float switch is stuck which is not uncommon. Here's the challenge: how the heck do I get to it? difficult thru little round pie hole. I can reach thru starboard back hatch (battery etc) but I can't see all the way in there. Manual says mounted (snapped) to plate, which I can't feel. So is it time to cut a larger access? If so, I'm thinking (sorry don''t know right words) the vertical surface in front of engine well? Seems that might be somewhat structural? (growing longer arms and seeing around corners does not appear to be an option - as useful as this might be Thx in advance folks. Bamaskeet
Many owners have cut a hatch in the splash well. It’s a easy job. Do a search here and you will find information. TH Marine, Armstrong and others make a waterproof removable hatch that will fit.
