DaveR RF16
I’ve posted about this on the Hewes/Maverick Facebook group- and several have said they have the same issue- mainly- the backrest on my Redfisher - which screws down with two large threaded knobs, isn’t secure- it wobbles up and down while trailering or even boating. As much as a couple of inches. The knobs are as tight as I can get them- but there is just a lot of play. Wondering if anyone has found a solution. Seems likely just not a good design, but I’m hoping there may be a simple fix for this style of backrest. cheers! 2022 Hewes Redfisher

George Seither
Could be flexing while trailering, supports look like they’ll flex to me.
