The back has a bench like area I was hoping to make into seat I could put in and out if was going out cruising vs fishing. Has anyone done anything like that? I have seen guides take out the seat and install three captains chairs with stiffeners under the deck. Some of the Hewes models have a flip up seat with a fiberglass deck cover on the back, which is really slick. I figure you would build a bench seat cushion with a backrest, that could be locked down in the boat, but be removable with little deck hardware left ?
