Gunrunner
Brand new 2500 with Bennett electric tabs with indicator quit working today. Switch looks to have no power as the lights are not on and tabs don’t work. They are stuck in the down position. I checked the plugs but I don’t have a meter with me on this trip. Any advice is appreciated.
jh141
Check the push to reset circuit breaker. My tabs have opened the breaker more than once.

Start at connectors - again in the bilge follow all the lines.....seems strange they are both out check the connections at the indicator.....could have come loose check the breaker connections from the rear inside the console that they are not loose....over time the nuts can loosen if this doesn't work, I'd cut the pos and neg wires where it's easy and connect a battery line to see if it reacts...you can use a couple of but connectors to reconnect..if the trim tab reacts you know it's forward of the tabs and somewhere between the switch, indicator, and breaker....welcome to electrical gremlins dc
