My old fishing buddy came into town and wanted to catch a few fish before heading back up to Ga.  Hardly no boats out either which was nice for a change.   We started out looking for some permit close in to no avail.  We hit the beach which is were we stayed most of the day.  Lots and lots of finger mullet and the snook were on fire.  Caught close to 20 snook with a few in the 25-26 inch range.  Sharks of course were everywhere and my buddy wanted to catch one and well….he caught 4 lol.  Moved north up the coast looking for some reds and although we didn’t see any, I did manage a trout and my buddy jumped and 30 pound class tarpon.  He had it on a good little bit but the hook was weak and came back straight!  By 1:00 pm, the storms chased us back to the dock.   Fun trip though.
