Yes appears to be at weld. There have been a few posts regarding such. Most with oem hardtops. Some have added additional supports from back of t t top to leaning post due to wt and vibration. None seen with cloth tops. If boat under wty take to dealer if not to fab shop to have repaired and painted to match powder coat. JMO. Best of luck fin 👍😀

I spoke to a local welder that specializes in t tops and aluminum welding, he said ride it out until it breaks then fix. He said its a stress crack below the weld and it will happen again and again. That it needs added gussets. My question is has anyone else with the hardtops had theirs repaired with etra gussets? If so please share some pictures.

Ride it out until it breaks, not. By waiting till it breaks could cause additional damage to the rest of the piping and then it will be an expensive fix. By letting it be it could add additional stress on that support and to the others causing bending, twisting and flexing and additional cracks at the weld joints. Find another fab shop. This is not a common problem but does happen at times. Best of luck fin 👍😀
