To avoid that again, I bought inflatable life belts. They are not armed yet. I like knowing how things work so asking does the belt arm when I screw the Co2 cartridge in by puncturing the thin metal on the head of the cartridge? If I unscrew, it will exhaust the cartridge? In my belt, the pull mechanism does NOT seem to puncture but maybe just open a valve to inflate the belt. Is that all correct?
