Bperkinson Posted July 6, 2023 Report Share Posted July 6, 2023 Hello and thank you for all the great content here. I'm looking for opinions on adding a freshwater washdown to my 26TRS. Is this an expensive option and does it hold enough water to rinse off the deck/console/rods on the way back in? SCFD rtrd. Posted July 7, 2023 Report Share Posted July 7, 2023 I have a saltwater intake on my boat, that I use to keep the boat clean while fishing. I wait till I'm back at the dock to rinse tackle and wash the interior of the boat. For me, it's not worth the additional cost and maintenance to install a freshwater tank and pump. redfisher4 Posted August 7, 2023 Report Share Posted August 7, 2023 I am also very interested in adding freshwater tank on our new 2600 TRS and looking for ideas. It would be difficult to add it in the factory location, under the back deck, but we may have room under the leaning post. Installing a single 36v Lithium battery which may give us enough room for a tank and pump. We pick up the new boat tomorrow and will start investigating possible locations.
