Miss Jazzy
Fished SGI the weekend of the 4th. Seas were perfect but the temps were brutal to say the least. With rumors of snapper being out deep we first stopped in 80-85’. No luck so we moved to several other spots out to 100’. Only managed a few lane’s and one mangrove. Pretty bummed at the results so we worked our way in. Decided to stop at a public number in 65’ and bam, largest snapper came over the gunnel. Saw several more big red and mangrove snapper but couldn’t get through the amber jack, they were thick everywhere we stopped. Hit a few other spots close by and managed a good mess. No snapper came in water deeper than 65’ so don’t believe everything you hear. Lol Trout came the day before.
