CRC
Saw this in the bilge grabbed it.... I unfortunately think it was wrapped / strapped across top of gas tank. Can anyone confirm? Its the only thing I can think of----- anyone have a solution if so. 2001 MA18 w original tank and ZERO issues. BTW best boat I ever owned! jh141
I think these fuel tanks had Tabs not straps. That is really long, could it be a wayward rod sock?
CRC
It’s about 3/8” thick rubber. Might have been a dampener under fuel tank. One thing for sure, called Maverick - pushed me off to dealers, no one -zero at plant to talk to. I was told “they have no humans in customer service”. Ouch
George Seither
Fuel tank isolator is all I can think of , can you get the dimensions of the tank and see if the numbers work out?
