carlton
Is there a big difference. I have a Lexus gx460 v 8 however I want my boys who own toyota 4 runners to have access. Opinions??
NCTribute
They are so close in weight I would be hard pressed to see why there would be much difference.
Wanaflatsfish
I am pulling a 23 HPS with T top.....with a F150..pulled a Pathy 22 without T top with F150.....the 22 had a single axle 7 K lb with class D tires.....the HPS 23 is on a dual Ameratrail.... Bottom line.....I don't see a major difference; however, I don't run faster than 60 mp when on the highway.... Think the key is the trailer.... dc
16bayfisher
I own a 2200 trs and pull it regularly short distances with my v6 3.6 Tacoma. It works and is safe with a break controller but not ideal. If the 4runner has the v8 no problem, if it has the 4.0 I would say it's probably better for towing than the 3.6 in my Tacoma. I also have a GX460 with the v8 and it's no problem for the 2200. I'd make sure to install a break controller in the 4runner.
fishmanjj
Just remember when on the highway….it doesn’t matter how well it pulls as compared to how well it STOPS
