Engine started bogging so I unscrewed the pie plate cover under the leaning post to replace the 22 yo gas line. Good thing I did. The sending unit had almost completely corroded away with the gasket holding what was left together. And leaving a good size hole. I installed a Navman fuel flow gauge years ago and didn't pay further attention to the Yamaha gas gauge. I'll be replacing the gas line and installing a new 6–12-inch Moeller sending unit.
