96mirage
This was a "barn find". I am the second owner, of this '95 that floats in a mud puddle. I love this boat, and have spent thousands of hours on it already in hundreds of trips. Caught my first tarpon on a fly, and plan to put many more fish on the deck. Definitely appreciate any assistance, and I'll post when she's floating again. I've put in some work already, cutting into the deck tubs to fix the bilge hose, and other rewire projects.I repowered with a yamaha 70, added hydraulic steering with bay star, and the hull is being refitted now. Currently, the entire deck has been detached at the 2 piece seam, to re glass the connections that were broken (the entire bow of the boat mostly). We're reglassing the screws below the rubrail, and starting reassembly in the next week or two. As we cut into the sub platform in the bow, the Kevlar weaving was a nice surprise. We're adding a new subfloor, and putting the batteries back up front with a barrier and stronger coosa board floor. 1st question in my thread - what would you do to rebond carpet (or alternative) to the foam in the rod racks?

Will post a photo when they're done.

BTW, I don't trust any jack stand wheels on the trailers....except to transfer off the truck...I always use a jack-stand after it's off the truck as a backup.... dc
