Jay Linesider
So I sold my house and my 2005 2200 Pathfinder. I am now in a new house with a 3 car garage with a 20’-6” length. I am wondering what size (if any) Hewes or Maverick I can squeeze in there. I realize I will need a folding trailer tongue to do it. Please let me know if any of you have dealt with and overcome this issue. Thanks!
Tender
Pretty sure my garage is 20' deep and its a 2 car, my truck will fit in it but have to take the hitch out or the door won't close. I have a Maverick 18hpxv in it on an AmeraTrail. No swing tongue, it just has the standard short tongue on it.
Fsu11
are you looking to back it straight in or angle it? if you angle it you can probably fit an 18 especially with a swing away tongue
Tender
To FSU's point my Maverick sits at an angle. Motor goes in one corner, tongue goes into the other corner. Fair bit of room to spare, work bench, shelving, water heater, deep freeze, air handler and kayak all fit.

My previous Hewes Redfisher 16 would just fit straight in with the Ameratrail swing tongue trailer. I've never seen a swing tongue trailer that conserves garage space better than the Ameratrail. When the tongue is folded, the trailer doesn't extend forward past the bow (nose) of the boat.
Jay Linesider
Great! That’s what I was hoping to hear. Thanks!
