Well, depending on what you and the family like, traditional boil in Louisiana has at least sausage, small potatoes, whole garlic, corn on the cob and it grows from there, you can split the boil and do fixings first, first ingredient ice cold beer for cook and guest.

Not going traditional Louisiana boil.  Holding out until Bug Season but I love a great boil.  A fellow forum member (Jeff1234) gave me a recipe/process that I've stuck with for 15-20 years and love it.

Having Crabs as a main course.  Probably doing Shrimp Tchoupitoulas as an app or side.  May also do filet medallions.  Looking more for veggies or other sides.  Thinking roasted asparagus, garlic mashed taters, roasted carrots, Broccoli, etc.

Which & Ralph.  This meal is going down in KY.  Probably going Weller 12 with meal but prepping with cold beer for sure.

Please let us all know what time to be there.  Need an address as well. I will bring the beer!
