Whiskeytrain Posted January 11 Report Share Posted January 11 Recently upgraded to a 80lbs terrova last summer and the last two trips have noticed a pronounced whine/squeal when using level 8-10. This did not happen the first several times using it. A post on the terrova owners Facebook page suggested an eliminator style prop nut solved the issue for one of the posters. Anyone have any advice on the “whine” or the use of the prop nuts? I’ve read some concerns about not being able to use the anode on the eliminator prop nut which could cause damage to the motor in saltwater use. Any advice would be appreciated.
