Coloradokid
Can someone do a search on the boat and show build info if possible . Is there wood in it and could it be a "super" RGL = Hewes Boat Co (Out of Business) F1098 = Boat Serial Number M = HIN format is Model-Year. Always has M at position nine (1972-1984) 75F = Production date January 1975 I'm a bit skeptical buying a 48 year old boat with wood
Toeknee217
I believe 1989 was the first year they stopped using wood. There was definitely wood in it originally so id expect rot unless the owner has proof of a quality rebuild with composites.
Lap it Up
1975 Hewes in original condition has wood, 100%. All regal built Hewes boats were laid with laminated wood.

When MBG moved the production in late "89" the boat was then built/laid up by MBG and it will not have wood. That boat will have wood and will be thinner than others for those early years.
