seanp
I have a problem with the starboard trim tab retrieval. Port tab works fine. Starboard will deploy but not return. When I attempt to retrieve it I don’t hear clicks or the motor. This lead me to suspect a faulty console switch. The switch is an Eaton 8531k32. The question I have is whether to replace with the same or upgrade to a new switch panel? Is this a straightforward fix? Any other thoughts/ recommendations? thx sps 2000 21 master angler
jim33042
I believe this is the replacement. https://newwiremarine.com/product/momentary-on-of-on-toggle-switch/ some vinegar and qtips will clean the green off of the female ends.
SouthernWake
@seanp Connections need to be cleaned regardless. when disconnected touch them to see if the motor runs each direction
