Transom mounted transducer

I am looking for some input on where to mount a transducer on a new 2600 HPS. Any input will be 

greatly appreciated.

The transducer reads at all speeds.

Thank you! I appreciate that! Did you have to make a 1" hole up in that corner to get the other end

of the transducer cable through?

By the way, I wanted to put it in that same spot, but my 2600 HPS has a high-speed pick-up 

just forward of that location about 4' and I thought that would create some noise/interference, 

but probably no more than steps do. Question, does your boat have the high-speed pick-up

in front of where you mounted your transducer?

The F300 has a low water pickup along with the typical side water pickups.  I have not seen any issues with water inlet but certainly you need to be aware of effecting water flow.

I think Axel is referring to the water pick-up that is mounted to the hull, just forward of the end of the transom.
