bankerhours
A little late to the party, but I have a 2005 HPX-V 15, and love it! I have no trolling motor but have been looking in to the idea. I usually spend most of my time poling the wife or friends around. It has served me well from fishing around Matanzas Inlet, down through the Tomoka Basin and Mosquito Lagoon to Islamorada and several trips to Big Pine. hawg
I have a 2004 15HPX with a 40 HP Yamaha 4 stroke and a Minn Kota mounted on the bow. I run the trolling motor on a 12 volt Optima battery placed in the center console. I have the trolling motor on a puck so that I can remove it for storage or if I'm sight fishing with another angler aboard. I love the boat. Fish all day for $12 worth of fuel. Fishes very skinny water and poles like a dream. It handles rough water as well as any 15 foot boat could be expected to. Really a 2 man boat though. 3 adults would overload it.
