21 Master Angler Motor Shaft Length

Hey everyone,
 

I am looking at a 21 master Angler that has been  re-powered with a 25 inch shaft motor. I am pretty sure they were designed for a short shaft, but has anyone ever ran one with a 25 inch shaft on a jack plate?
