I have a 1997 16’ tournament I haven’t seen any others that say tournament I’ve seen bonefish and redfish   Anyone have any info on this model. Thanks

In 1998 the same boat was labeled as a 16 bone. Before the tournament it was a 16 bone then they cut the shear down on the hull by removing one lap. So your boat and 1998 and up sit lower to the water line. They did this so it has a lower profile as not to catch the wind as bad while poling. The bay fisher 16 was made out of the older 16 bone mold that was taller.

Thanks.  great information, I had to put a new fuel tank and transom in it but the rest is solid and original.
