DavisIslander Posted June 7 Report Share Posted June 7 My wonderful son and DIL (with grandbaby) have invited us to tag-along and fish with him (and babysit at times) while up there mid July this year. Wondering if we have any fly fishermen that have gone before with suggestions and tips? Wigwam, Bow, those areas. Bulls, Rainbows, Browns, etc. Bear spray already purchased and looking at the plethora (always wanted to get that word in a sentence) of fly options. Whew! Got chased out of Jasper because of forest fires, favorite stop was Fernie and the Wigwam River. Did not care for the hike in (500+ feet down) and got the old heart pumping on the way back. Beautiful country for this Florida Boy but I'll stay down south (thank you)! Huge Bull Trout 29", mine smaller. Cutthroat, mountain whitefish, and bulls.
