blackfin32
hello to all , new here, long time lurker. I used to have a 16' lappy bayfisher, 93' model, with a 2 stroke yamaha 90. loved the boat, one of the best riding little boats I have been in. with that being said, I realize there has always been a big debate here about ride quality of the newer boats versus the older lappys. I have just sold my 32 blackfin with diesels, generator, AC, so yes, this will be another ridiculously large adjustment. bottom line is I have plenty of friends to ride on with everything from new twin engine CC's to larger sportys. I just want my personal boat to be a sandbar/cruiser for 2 or 3 tops, mostly 2. always loved these little boats. I would love to hear some input on the new design, likes, dislikes, etc.. including details of how much the new tank placement has countered the weight for the 4 stroke. i would get a 90HP boat, not the 115, so any "real" numbers would also be appreciated. i am have a tough time swallowing the pill that this boat costs what I just sold the blackfin for, before I even rig it out! wow, have they jumped in price.. looks like boat, motor, trailer pushing 40k..unreal. so hearing some pros and cons from the actual experts helps me "swallow the pill"' lol. my favorite feature is that huge storage that runs almost beam to beam under the bench helm seat, my lappy never had that, makes a huge difference in storage. very curious to hear about ride quality in chop, any squat or porpoising issues with the latest design, and overall satisfaction. thank you for your input!
