Wanaflatsfish
My buddy is ordering a new 22 Pathfinder - (Skip - I should be getting a commission) - he bought a RF18, but, want's to move up (yes, new as well)... He's ordering a TE with two blades....10'...has anyone had any issues with the brackets, or should it go directly on the transom..I know there's been alot of improvements to the brackets.. linesider 159
I like the brackets, just make sure he gets the braced brackets. 2 sets of 10 foot blades and brackets, and no bracket issues
PowerPoleTech
On a 2016 22 TE, the factory swim platform will not allow for transom or bracket mount on the port side. Unless he opts out of the swim platform, it doesn't look like he will be able to run dual Power-Pole anchors...
Wheels On Water
Why put more holes into a new boat? Go with the brackets! I have Dual Blades & have more than enough room for the trim tabs and if I wanted to add an aftermarket swim platform. My friend is also ordering a 22 with plans to have Dual Blades I mentioned to him to do the same! Good Luck!
