bernieNC
Spent a fair amount of time at the DMF meeting in Morehead City this past week. All I can say is, what a cluster. Below are the new Cobia regs. Make sure you know what day of the week it is!!!! http://portal.ncdenr.org/web/mf/proclamation-ff-25-2016

Looks like Virginia will be complying with the feds and shutting down the season June 20 also. I would hate to see it closed in NC but I think not complying with feds is going to bring bigger problems down the road. My guess is NC will close early anyway due to quota and receive yet another black eye. I think my biggest concern over NC's new regs. are the big difference in the private boater and the guides. Makes me wonder if they are not trying to drive a wedge between the two groups. Also for the NC guys. I hear there is a new report out on Reds that has not so good numbers and early word is no one agrees with it. Hold on to your seats and keep an eye out. If you are not involved now maybe the time. Nag Juice
Well look at Flounder. It's closed rec and comm from 15 Oct thru 01Jan. I wouldn't be surprised if it all closed down
