Bamaskeet
I have had 2004 2200V with a F150 for a long time. I think it's time to install a jackplate. I was going to go with a Atlas, my question is setback - 4" or 6" or more? My motor doesn't have a low water pickup, is that going to be a problem? JEM
6 inch jackplate. The only issue will be your prop. If you are turning a 3 blade, chances are nearly 100% that you will have to reprop to a 4 blade. I had to. Good luck!
Miss Jazzy
4" Setback. No low water pickup will not be a problem. A four blade prop will be recomended. Preferably a PowerTech OFX 17.
SoCalChilio
I have two 2005 2200V's, boats are almost identical. I have a powertech ofx4 17 on one (CA boat). A Yamaha four blade 13 3/4 x 18 on the (FL boat), the yamaha is better on hole shot and top end with less blow out. The boats have the same jack plate as well. Yamaha prop (FL boat) Florida boat California Boat Powertech prop
Capt. Tyler
Get a 6" Bobs JP. Atlas has a history of problems.
fin-addict
x2 on bob's, had one 8 years, problem free. just make sure you lube the slides and run it each time out so it does not freeze up the slides.
