Onionrings
I filled up my 2300 HPS which holds 60-62 gallons for a nearshore fishing trip last week. On the way in after a 95 mile round trip, my fuel gauge shows that I am near empty (one bar on the fuel gauge) but when I went to top it, I had only burned 34 gallons (a little more than half of capacity). is anyone else experiencing this with the 2300 HPS? SCFD rtrd.
Don't quote me, but I think I remember someone saying that the gauge (on the console) is adjustable. If so, I suppose the dealer would have to make the adjustments.

Reel Stoked
My 2300 has done the same thing since day 1. I have had the sensor replaced with a longer one but it didn't do any good. Mine never shows completely full and when I am down 35 gallons or so its showing only 2 bars left.
Shindig
I have the same problem with my 24TRS, Even after the dealer recalibrated the gauge. the tank hold 73 gal and with about 30 gal in tank the gauge is flashing at 1-2 bars. I just reset my fuel consumption gauge with every fill up and monitor that. Once when my gauge was flashing at zero bars I still had 15 gal in tank so atleast I know I have reserve at empty.. Pmckh
Mine had 3 bars on it today and it only took 31 gallons
Bamaskeet
I also have a less than accurate fuel gauge. I use my odometer as my fuel gauge. I zero it out after every fill up. I get 4 mpg over average usage. (F150). I normally run 160 miles between fill ups. My only issue is if my odometer tube gets plugged. I could also use my GPS to track miles, but it's not as user friendly.
