CG RYAN
I recently bought an xi5 and will be replacing my troller this weekend. After reading the directions I am not exactly sure what position I am going to mount the bracket. For those of you who have the earlier pathfinders with a xi5, do you have any pictures of it? I am hoping to keep the use of my bow cleat and it looks like I should be able to but it will be close. Also, has anyone had issues with the tm hitting the bow roller if its towards the center line? hurricane
On my MA, I had to install mount turned around, so the puck was more inside the boat. To do this I had to redrill the mount to fit the TM. This was the only way I could all four bolts into the backing plate.
MarkB2
Ryan, here's how mine is mounted. I have an xi5 as well, here are a couple of close up photos I had taken of mine in order to get the bad powder coating job taken care of under warranty. They will be replacing the whole lower end and shaft as well as the transmission. Just ignore all those lobster on the last photo. I was able to mount it using all 4 bolts.
