FunFlatsFishing
How many of you have a helm station pad? I am considering adding one. I've read online that the SeaDek pad doesn't provide much cushion any other recommendations?
Capt. Tyler
Not sure how similar they are to SeaDek but I have an Ocean Grip pad and they're fantastic. Helps a lot when standing all day.

fishmanjj
I have a FootCush in mine and it is very comfy to stand on while running. It's probably a full inch thick and has held up fine for three years so far. It does not slide around and it not slippery at all.

Redrum
I've had many helm pads over the years, in my opinion there is nothing better than Sea Shocks, a little pricey, but if you have a bad back, knee or hip problems this is the mat for you http://www.seashocks.com/taxonomy/term/
fin-addict
if I did not have the mat I have, Sea Shocks 100% my choice, pricey but cheaper than a doctors visit.

Capt. Tyler
Awesome. Did you deal with Dillion? They do an awesome job there. He did my helm pad and I'm thinking about doing my whole boat.

If you do your whole boat and make the template, it would be a lot easier for me lol

SCFD rtrd.
one inch = 25.4 mm 13 mm = a hair over 1/2 inch But, if it works, then the thickness doesn't matter. It's the composition of the material that's important.
bernieNC
Anyone able to compare Ocean Grip to SeaDek? I see they are the same thickness (13mm).
Bamaskeet
My Sea Dek helm pad is close to 13 mm thick, it looks good, but it's not very cushy.
