Pathfinder20
I have a 2005 Pathfinder hull and 2005 Yamaha F115. Thinking of replacing fuel lines due to age. Boat was rigged with 3/8" fuel line up to the primer bulb, and hose going into the engine is a 1/4". So is 3/8" needed to feed this outboard? Thanks, Pathfinder20
Bamaskeet
No, the 3/8" fuel line is required for the V6 engines.
imsnookyrd
Just my opinion but why change, you might need the 3/8 if you ever repower and basically it isn't hurting anything now.
Lap it Up
3/8" from tank to water separator and 5/16" from separator to engine is standard on your application. Primer ball should be between tank and separator so you can fill an empty filter if need be.
