I cut a good chunk off, pull out the thatch at the base, then separate into 4 smaller pieces, then tie top, bottom and both sides , I do this twice , then trim with sharp scissors, then add the small eye. I cannot begin to tell you how busy I have been with work, I expected to have a house and skiff by December 2009, I am trying hard to be over in March, as I need a base with ease of access to the Caribbean, the Keys is perfect.
