Waz-in-Oz Posted June 2, 2010 Report Share Posted June 2, 2010 One of my Engineer's went out over the weekend throwing a few poppers for GT's at the Palms just off Townsville and was rewarded for there efforts. Both fish were released and there were even some bigger horses that they missed he said. Thought it was worth sharing as this is something that me and my mates do regulary to strech our arms. [image]http://www.mbcforum.com/fbbuploads/1275479484-GT_Photos.jpg [image]http://www.mbcforum.com/fbbuploads/1275479509-GT_2.jpg If you haven't thrown topwaters before then this is some of the best fun seeing these mid sized bucket mouths coming up behind your lure with there backs out of the water and making your adrenalin rush so hard you freeze in anticipation while your other side of the brain is still trying to get you to keep winding so you can witness a surface strike that leaves a hole you can drive a 18 wheeler into.
