whichwaysup Posted November 1, 2016 Report Share Posted November 1, 2016 I upgraded to an HDS Gen 3, and have to say that I LOVE the side scan capability - use it as much or more than I used the downscan, but I fish shallower water where downscan did little for me. I do think their new TI models are interesting - a lot fewer bells and whistles than the HDS units, but a lot of the same functionality. Honestly it would have been a better value for what I use it for, but I had the scratch to go with the HDS so I did. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
