Yes... I've used the cup holder, they work well. . I'm partial to the cup holders that mount on the yeti coolers though. .

Yes I have one that will not keep suction and kept falling off. For what they cost this should not be a problem. I won't bother buying anymore.

I have a couple that have fly rod holders affixed to them.  I have been happy with mine.

I use the ram suction mount will work for almost anything I think.  I mount my Lowrance on one..  holds very well

Looking for options on the new Maverick for some rod holder forward. It looks like the fuel tank is right up against the forward bulkhead. I am not to excited about drilling hole up there and everything else is either dry storage or rod storage so send me some options.

When all else fails,,,,,,,,make sure of exact location...use 5200. 15 years later when you sell the boat, it will still be attached.

Not what you were looking for but my neighbor had one of these and I thought it was pretty cool.  He had it clipped on the grab rail.   More for the island than fishing.

I had one clipped to the TM shaft that worked great until it rusted out so tell your bud to make sure he washes off the springs. I just got a couple of Sea Sucker rod holders to try today. Ill let everyone know how they do on Monday.
