East Coast Dave
The bow has a large number of "bumps" for lack of a better term? Any ideas what this could be? Thanks!
jason p
The only thing I can think of is a delamination repair that wasn't faired. Maybe holes were drilled in the delaminated deck and filled with epoxy and then poorly finished and covered with non-skid. I'm totaly guessing here, I'm not a fiberglass repair guy, probably more of a destroyer actually.
East Coast Dave
I never noticed it until yesterday. I'm not the original owner. The light has to hit it just right to see it. The boat is so clean you wouldn't think it had a repair like that.
Tails Up
It is fairly common. It is a result of the vacuum bagging process during production.

wayne
Being that they seem to be perfectly spaced apart and in a pattern, I think its a vacuum bagging thing also.. My boat has some if you look close enough..
PastMidnite
It is related to the vacuum bagging,no rhyme or reason why it happens on some boats, and not on others. My hpxv has them about the same as the pic above. My boat is an 03 and one of the first varis boats,a friend has a 2013 18hpxv and has the same bumps. The only way to really get rid of them is sand down the deck, high build primer and fair it out. Just a cosmetic blemish nothing more.
