Power Pole weirdness

Ok so I'll see if I can put into words what's going on.

I have dual PP set-up, they are about 8 months old. Two days ago my starboard PP quit working altogether and my port PP works intermently. Doesn't matter which remote I use. Checked power to both and they both have power. The port will work normally at times, then go into a funk where as you can hear the motor running, but it's not as strong a sound as when it's working normally. I can play around with the remote and it will finally start working again.

 

The starboard one is a different story. It does not work at all, not even with the controls on top the motor. The little light on top blinks like normal but it doesn't make the chirping or beeping sound like it normally would.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the cmonster system. Did they have issues simultaneously? Did you actually check the voltage going to them?

Yea I'd check voltage into cmonster then after cmonster. Are fuses ok and seated correctly?

Call PP directly.  They have amazing customer service and normally troubleshoot with you over the phone.

Yes both have good voltage. I did a visual check and a check on C-monster. I'm baffled on this one.

I spoke with PP Tech Support today and determined it's the mother board that is bad. They are shipping me a new one.

Just an update, it was the mother board that was the culprit. I changed it and now I am back in business. I can't enough good things about JL Marine. They are great!!!

I had the same thing happen to me. Replaced the board and was back in biz in about 2 days.
