FunFlatsFishing
Where is everyone buying their oysters in the Tampa area? Cox seafood is charging $56 for 30 pounds (about half a bushel). What is going on with these prices?
Capt. Troy
IC Sharks on Gandy had some good ones but they were big money as well if I remember. They have gotten real expensive over the last few years.
DonV
Holy moly!! I must be getting old. $56 for half a bushel??? I guess I can mark those off the food list of my next party! In perspective, I paid around $12 to $15 for a dozen each "Mediterranean" and "Classic" style oysters at the "Up the Creek" oyster bar/restaurant in Apalachicola a few months ago and to me that was crazy. The more I think about it, very crazy!!
