You press the white dot on the right to deploy. I think you double tap. 

 

Interesting upgrade from mine (older model)....mine has the deploy at the bottom.

 

I'll be interested in hearing if there is any upgrades on the board to allow for changes if it works "better".

 

iPhone app would be a good back up....but, I don't see myself holding the iPhone in my hand fishing...

 

I have my remote TM and remote PP's on the same lanyard clipped to by fishing pants on my left....I cast with my right hand and use my left to guide the boat and stop.

Wanna, They changed a bit...the gen 2 trim motor is bit different. Also has a puck for the bluetooth and aid in spot lock. Another thread on here has it depicted.

cool...i think i saw something...so far, gen1 working fine.

I just saw the app is now available on Google Play for Android devices and there has been only 1 download of it to date.  I am about to be #2.

I"d be sure that you check with MInnkotta before using the APP, meaning, could it screw up your current remote connect?  Don't know...just saying....if it's not on the Minnkotta site as a link, I'd be a bit wary.
