brew1891
Picked up a used rear deck seat cushion and back rest for my 2200v. Can anyone tell me how the backrest mounts to the deck? Does PF use the Birdsall puck looking mount or a proprietary mount? Thanks!
CG RYAN
Mine are flush inserts on the deck and a stainless hex bolt that goes through the backrest.
brew1891
Flush inserts sound better than pucks on the deck. This one has a bolt with a plastic knob on the end that holds down the backrest.
brew1891
dealer ordered the back rest mounts and said this is all that is available from MBG: Dealer advised to drill hole through deck where center bolt goes through. Anyone have similar mounts and can you snap a pic of how it's installed? Here's the overall package:
CG RYAN
Mine are smaller "pucks" and the mounting arms are countersunk so that a flush hex head stainless bolt goes into the deck. I will take some pictures this weekend.

Dealer recommended lining up the center hole over livewell somant water would drain into well but I hate drilling more holes.
