civilized
So I had to manually stow my MinnKota Ulterra this weekend (take off cover plate, loosen screw, etc.) just as described on the quick reference guide. I think I solved the issue, trolling motor was getting hung during deploy, before it went all the way into water and therefore it would not finish deploying or stow. Trouble is: now I don't know how to manually reset the trolling motor and the instructions do not allude to any guidance. Anyone know what the process is? Thanks,
Lowcountry Joe
Minn Kota states in their instructions that it has to be done by an authorized service center. I'd give Minn Kota a call and ask for technical assistance.

triplec
As above. MK says it has to be serviced when manually raised. It is under warranty if salt water model as they didn't come out until late 15 i think so should be covered. They have some issues on the first gen lift motor. Mine was making a noise so they replaced everything. It has to do with a c clip inside the housing that holds the shaft I think the tech said.
