Drummer Posted February 5, 2017 Report Share Posted February 5, 2017 My 2000 LT18 has a great 130 Yamaha on the back. My issue is I don't see where the engine elapsed hours are displayed. I have RPM, tilt, temp, oil, trip, speed (pretty close to actual on GPS), but no engine hours. Is this me, a setup thing, or what? Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FunFlatsFishing Posted February 5, 2017 Report Share Posted February 5, 2017 My Yamaha guages have an hour meter but it runs off the key switch being turned to on. Not the actually engine ecu. When I replaced the guages due to sun fade, the hours reset to zero My gps via Nmea 2000 reads the true engine hours. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Is this me, a setup thing, or what? Thanks. Older gauges didn't offer engine hours. I have a 1998 130V4 with original digital gauges just as you described and there is no Hour display.
