gambler1
I would like to replace the side lower courtesy lights on my console. Can't remember if they ever worked or not or if they came on same time as anchor light? Do they pop out easy to check bulbs? Anyone replaced with factory or upgrade to LED? Where and what to buy? Pics or help please. It's a 2007 2200 Pathfinder
JEM
TH Marine sells an underwater LED light that works perfectly as a courtesy light. These were put on my 2007 2200V. We used blue led's.
gambler1
Looks awesome , the console lights look 360* not down directional? Do you know the model # ? and was any cutting involved? and lastly what switch do you have them on?
SCFD rtrd.
Why not hook them to the same switch as the old lights. They should not come on with the anchor or running lights. You should have some unused accessory switches on your switch panel. You could buy the lights suggested by JEM, then paint the tops with spray paint designed for plastic (Home Depot). Then they would only illuminate down and to the sides.
JEM
I had a courtesy light switch. I think your boat should have one also. No cutting was required.
gambler1
I understand what you guy's are saying on separate switch, that is how I would have it. But before I crawled in the console to start I could not remember what switch it was and possibly a fuse to check for. Not a problem though I will be able to figure it out. SCFD rtrd.
If your old wires are still in-place and you have a continuity tester, you can connect to the hot wire at the old light and then probe the switches till you get continuity or that beeping sound.
