dcathey
I've got an aftermarket tackle locker where the back rest isn't supposed to be on a 22 tournament. It's a flimsy plastic unit and it would be fine but I just installed some jl 8.8s and an amp and that thing isn't going to cut it. Are the ones from MBG that are built out of starboard any sturdier and not vibrate when the musics up? I'm going to try to make a backer plate for this one to stiffen it up and hopefully make it a little better since we've got some trips coming up. Anybody else dealt with this? FunFlatsFishing
Does it look like this? Mine cracked last week during a run across the bay in very choppy water. I'm going to be replacing mine soon too.
dcathey
Very similar, company called ssi made mine. I found several online that I like and I'll just get a cushion made later. Just hoping that one built of starboard won't rattle so bad
JEM
You might try Boat Outfitters. They make very high quality stuff like these cabinets out of starboard.

I'll be switching to a starboard one as well.
